But where is Unit22??

Opening night is 24th March!

But who are the DJs?
Why, they're DJs Narky, Nova and Katykitten, of course!

Update :)
Hello!
Here's an update on what has been happening in the world of Plastic Toys.
The band have been hard at work on their debut album, recording live drum tracks at Criterion Studios with producer/engineer Mark Williams. Since then they have been holed up in Jon's studio recording bass and guitar tracks. It's early days yet, but what I have heard sounds amazing, and it's just the bare bones of the songs at the moment. I'm under strict instructions not to give anything else away unfortunately.

We have had a lot of e-mails asking about gigs, so here are the latest dates for your diary.

15th March - Silks Bar - Basingstoke. Supporting Karn8. Tix £3 on the door. 16+ (bring ID)

24th March - The Joiners - Southampton - Support: Dies So Fluid - Flylo. Tix £5 adv - £7 on the door. E-mail back for ticket info or visit the Joiners site here.

13th April - The Railway Inn - Winchester - Supporting Robin Black. Tix £7 from us or Ticketweb or on the door (if there are any left).

21st April - The Arts Centre - Salisbury . Price TBC. Plastic Toys headline all ages show.

12th May - The Talking Heads - Southampton - Supporting Rival Joustas and LAX. Price TBC

24th May - The Railway Inn - Winchester - Plastic Toys headline another Max's Records night. Price TBC.

30th June - City Hall - Salisbury - Details to come.

If you need any information to do with gigs, releases, street team or anything Plastic Toys related please e-mail info@plastictoys.co.uk

Remember to check out the site for regular updates and if you're a myspacer get your self to www.myspace.com/plastictoys

Please vote for us..
There is a competition on Meridian TV. You had to send in a video of your band playing (unfortunately no pro vids, so our 'Feel THe Love' promo was not used) and then the public get to vote. Well it is so well hidden on their site i can't see many people in the public finding it so we need your votes!

Text LOCAL 22 to number 63338

The link for video - http://www.itvlocal.tv/index.htm
You have to let the player load. Then go to the Brighton TV bit at the bottom of the page, then Bandwidth comp channel and we're band 22. If you click 'your choice' at the top you can select to watch us.

Thank you.

Note from Jon Toy
Plastic People,

There will be more gigs booked before these as i know a lot of you are getting withdrawal symptoms.

In the meantime you can hear us on www.totalrock.com , e-mail them on studio@totalrock.com and make a request for your favourite PT track. We have just been invitied there too for an interview on the 25th August, more details on the exact time to come.

Yeah, first time I've seen 'em, so it was a treat. The sound was excellent - sound you could really feel, and a great mix. It's a shame there were other bands to come on after them, could've done with a longer set, but that's just me being greedy. I've no idea what songs they played cos I don't know any of the titles - well, apart from Fever, of course - that's gotta be the best version since the Cramps. hmmm, maybe if I'd bought one of their CDs I'd know a bit more about what they played!! Got a bit distracted again...

They were up for it and having a good time, and that really came across. You couldn't help but enjoy it. So Plan A were lucky buggers to have such a great warmup band, they'd halfway won the audience before they even came on.
