Here's an update on what has been happening in the world of Plastic Toys.
The band have been hard at work on their debut album, recording live drum tracks at Criterion Studios with producer/engineer Mark Williams. Since then they have been holed up in Jon's studio recording bass and guitar tracks. It's early days yet, but what I have heard sounds amazing, and it's just the bare bones of the songs at the moment. I'm under strict instructions not to give anything else away unfortunately.
We have had a lot of e-mails asking about gigs, so here are the latest dates for your diary.

Well it is so well hidden on their site i can't see many people in the public finding it so we need your votes!
Text LOCAL 22 to number 63338

You have to let the player load. Then go to the Brighton TV bit at the bottom of the page, then Bandwidth comp channel and we're band 22. If you click 'your choice' at the top you can select to watch us.

Reviewed by ozzyozzy Yeah, first time I've seen 'em, so it was a treat. The sound was excellent - sound you could really feel, and a great mix. It's a shame there were other bands to come on after them, could've done with a longer set, but that's just me being greedy. I've no idea what songs they played cos I don't know any of the titles - well, apart from Fever, of course - that's gotta be the best version since the Cramps. hmmm, maybe if I'd bought one of their CDs I'd know a bit more about what they played!! Got a bit distracted again...
They were up for it and having a good time, and that really came across. You couldn't help but enjoy it. So Plan A were lucky buggers to have such a great warmup band, they'd halfway won the audience before they even came on.
